YT 500 Club Member | Itchy With Black Dots Hello everyone, has anyone experienced this with there dogs? Sammie has been very itchy this week on his belly area. I noticed it is very red and he has little black dots on his stomach. Kinda like a poppy seed. I can't pick them off so I know it is not flea dirt. He is doing to the vet today. I was thinking maybe yeast but he does not smell. Thanks |

| Yes, he needs to see a vet. No one could advise you based on this description. Let us know what the vet says. Welcome to YT

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Many allergy dogs get the "black dot stomach" thing - due to rather chronic inflammations of the skin. But to be sure, a vet would have to see it...

YT 500 Club Member | Sammie went to the vet. The black specs are black heads she said. Which I never heard of. She put him on the new drug Cytopoint and now I am waiting for the three days to see if it kicks in. |
