If you have a male you shouldn't do fish oil because there have been studies that fish oil is linked to prostate issues like cancer and such. You can do Omega 3 though.

It sort of depends on what you're giving...does the bottle have dosage guidance at all?
Btw, for fish oils - a dog's body needs Vit E to convert it properly (like 10 IU) - so you either need to supplement w/ that as well, or, just buy a fish oil that already has it in it, like Ark Naturals.

I think that you should advise with your veterinarian and you should also research if fish oil is actually any good for your Yorkie because I heard divided opinions about it
