| Need suggestion for flea medication So I had to board my baby this weekend due to having to go out of town on an emergency. When I picked her up she had fleas! Can someone please give me a suggestion of what I can use to get rid of them? I bathed her this morning and still see some. She eats garlic pills for fleas but clearly it's not enough. She's 4.5 pounds. Thank you! |

You will also have to vacuum and launder everything your dog came in contact with. | |

| I had to start Monroe on flea meds as a puppy (under 2 pounds… ugh). The vet put her on Advantage Multi (flea/heartworm). She did find on this. |

| I am going to try Seresto Collar this time around. Mario is about 9lbs though.....so check with your vet. Also, good to mention for anyone trying Seresto, they should make sure their hearworm pill does NOT have any flea or tick killer in it. https://www.chewy.com/seresto-8-mont...ollar/dp/46496 I bought our whole crew Seresto on Ebay for about 30 a peice. One for the cat, larger dog and Mario. We have fleas the last two years, so not wanting them again.

| I use either Nexgard or Simparica for flea/tick medicine. I just switched to Simparcia just because my vet recommended it as it's a tad cheaper. Wouldn't hesitate to use either of these though.

| I use Nexgard. Bella has never had fleas. She is 8 months old now and is a whopping three pounds. My vet recommended that to us. Hope it helps. |

| There are many products and solutions for fleas https://www.vetary.com/dog/condition/fleas but I would consult my vet due to your dog's tiny size. And they can recommend how to be certain your dog's environment is free of the pests too! Good luck. |

| We noticed once that our dog was full of fleas after walking in the park... It was a real disaster for us, we were scared and upset. This article describes all chemical, mechanical and other ways of flea treatment. There are also some tips to prevent flea invasion in future. Hope it will be helpful for you. |

| Our vet says Revolution is the only one that's compatible with Roxie's 3 lb. weight. I'd like to know of alternatives, since the Revolution is not all that effective. |
