| How many BM a day? http://i66.tinypic.com/20svksh.jpgHello! I have an 8.5month old girl. I brought her home when she was 12 weeks old. Breeder projected her to be 6lbs full grown but alas, my little girl decided to be a little peanut instead! she currently weighs 3.3lbs. She's always been free fed and is indoor pad trained. The breeder had her on Royal canin puppy but I switched her to wellness small breed puppy dry food mixed with wellness trufood baked blends natural grain free dry food. She loves to eat and drink and is amazing with the whole potty business. My question is how many times does your yorkie go #2? our girl goes about 2-4times a day! I'm not sure if its her food or if its she's tiny and she loves to eat! what goes in must come out I suppose?! anybody else have their yorkie on wellness brand food? thanks! | Hi,. I just had to write and say how adorable your little one is in her red suit!! We eat prescription food and Joey is 3.5 lbs. And he goes a few times a day. Not a lot though. From what I understand it depends on the food how often they go. I think a better quality food will produce less stools. Not sure that is much help. Never used wellness before he had to eat prescription food so am no help there. .....

| My boy is 5 yo, due to allergy's I put him on Natural Balance grain free. After a year and half he refused to eat it, any combo he refused. I gave him Wellness, grain free, reduced fat. When he was on NB he would poop 4 times a day (NB was high in protein) Since he's been on Wellness he goes twice a day. (Wellness has lower % protein).

| I had a trainer tell me if it's more then twice it's not the right food for them. My puppy goes twice a day and my adult girl goes once or twice it depends.

| I have a six year old, 4.5 lbs girl. She will go usually once a day and it is on her afternoon walk. Seems she always goes in the afternoon, unless she has eaten something than may cause loose stools. Then anytime, anywhere. |

| I would say Emma goes about 2x a day. She is free fed but goes outside to potty, there's an evening poo and a morning one. I feel like she pees more so about 4 times a day considering how often I let her out.

| When Teddy was younger, he often pooped 3 times and sometimes 4 times a day. He has a very fast metabolism, and he is inclined to poop when excited. I think those things have something to do with it. He often will still go 3 times a day, especially when active. Max is twice a day when active, sometimes only once a day if we don't have a big outing.
