| Yorkie Staring at Shadow??? Hello All, my boy will be 3yr old in Feb. I recently noticed that when he sees his shadow like in a room with the lights on that he seems to be fascinated by it. He kinda just stares at it but no really chasing it. It's more of a curiosity. I don't want him to do this because I don't want him to become compulsive behavior. I try to distract him by throwing a toy of squeaking the toy at him. But that doesn't seem to work. The only other thing I do is to turn off the lights in my room so the shadow is one. Has anyone experienced this before and what was done to help? Thanks. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What do you mean you don't want it to become a "compulsive behavior"...? Is it causing any harm...or is it going to...?

| I mean I don't want him obsessing over his shadow. He just stares at it shaking his head from side to side trying to figure out how to get it. He's not hurting himself but I don't want him to become neurotic either. I think I read somewhere but can't find it now, that this type of behavior is not normal. |
