Hello All, my boy will be 3yr old in Feb. I recently noticed that when he sees his shadow like in a room with the lights on that he seems to be fascinated by it. He kinda just stares at it but no really chasing it. It's more of a curiosity. I don't want him to do this because I don't want him to become compulsive behavior. I try to distract him by throwing a toy of squeaking the toy at him. But that doesn't seem to work.

The only other thing I do is to turn off the lights in my room so the shadow is one. Has anyone experienced this before and what was done to help?
