Not a Yorkie but still a dog..

We have a 10 year old mini Dachshund that sometimes gets up in the morning with a very loud growling stomach..It only happens now and then and when I say loud I mean loud..Any idea what may be going on? Thanks

Something is bothering his GI system. If I were you, I'd probably change foods to something w/ a different protein and main-carb source. What are you feeding now?

I feed a dry high protein food with water added..The condition only happens about once a month so I don't think it's anything I'm feeding..I think perhaps she may be picking up something outdoors that could cause it but that's that's just speculation..

Maybe eating some grass or something?

Or maybe she ate too early the night before, and her tummy is overly hungry upon waking...?
