| Which food to choose??? I have a 7 yr old yorkie and have changed food 3 times, I currently have her on fresh pet and she seems to love it but I don't think it's helping with her itching problems, I just purchased a bag of halo small breed duck and pheasant formula, wondering if anyone has any suggestions with that brand or what seems to be the best that is a safe brand. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Itching is almost never from food - it's almost always from enviro allergies (dust, pollens, grasses etc). So, it's likely she has allergies. Is she chewing/licking her paws at all? If so, that's the cardinal sign of allergies. For more on allergies and treating them, read here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...tart-here.html

| I have fed our yorkie Fromm's Whitefish & Potatoe now for five years and no problems. They have a Duck one also so you would have to go on their website. Hope this helps. The reason mine is on fish she is allergic to chicken. |
