| Sleep for Puppies I went from a lethargic puppy who didn't want ANYTHING to eat to a puppy that is wired (thank GOD) !! and I'm not even giving her nutrical lol My question is: Should I put my puppy to sleep throughout the day (she's 14wks old)? How many hours a day should she sleep? Does she know when she is tired and I should just let her decide when its time to sleep? She's with someone most of the day and in her play pen when no one is home... She spent last month sick with kennel cough (she is coughing still) and other issues so I'm thinking she needs as much sleep as possible but I really don't know!!! Help me Thank you!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | She will know when she needs to sleep and will just plop down and do it when it's time. I wouldn't worry about trying to force it.

| Wylie's Mom is correct, when puppies are tired they will take their naps. My past 4 puppies would just knok·out with then were tired. Forcing them to nap when they are not ready will cause them to cry and carry on.

| I love to see sleeping babies, they are so relaxed, so trusting, so innocent looking. Thanks for sharing sleepy head Xena.
