BTW, my parents were WRONG to give poor Inky (the Cocker Spaniel) coffee, since it is on the list of foods that are toxic to dogs.  Inky did go on to live a long life and she was fairly old when my father backed the car over her in the driveway   .    |  
 
  Little did your sibs know that you were WAY ahead of the game by drinking a bit of coffee bc nowadays, they recommend a reasonable amount of coffee/caffeine for all sorts of reason, including it being brain-protective. 
Awww, so sorry to hear about poor Inky, how tragic. I'm glad she lived a long life though.
