| Opinion on mixing foods Hello I have a question about mixing two food at one time. I am also wondering about diet rotation meal to meal. I am currently feeding orijen and acana. The puppy formula and fish Orijen and Acana grasslands and red. I often mix the kibble variety meal to meal. My puppies do get loose stools if the mixture is heavy on the Orijen. I also add puppy platter and Honest Kitchen. I have read some thing saying that roatation is meant to be done at minimum day to day or month to month. Puppies seem to be acitve, growing well and energetic. They are 12 weeks and gaining weight well. Am I harming them does anyone else do this sort of feeding at times they are picky. Hand feeding will help. I also have tried a few sample totw, artemis and California Natural Kangaroo. The only food they devoured and loved was Califorfina Natural but I was given just a small sample and not sure it is a high quality enough food. Any feedback or advice would be helpful. I just dont want to do any damage or make my babies sick. They do occasionally scratch but mostly after being in backyard on grass or rough housing. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think rotation is great - nothing wrong with it at all. The only thing is to save a couple/few proteins for novel proteins in case they ever get allergies later.
