| Where do you buy your pet meds, treats and flea/tick? Hey All - I'm new here (my boy is 14 weeks, 2.5 pounds) and am a first time toy owner. My past experience has been boxers so I'm very happy to be a member of this forum. You all, my breeder, trainer and vet have been simply WONDERFUL! I am curious where you all typically buy your pet meds, treats and flea/tick preventatives and why you like to buy from your current supplier. I work for an animal health retailer/pharmacy and we're primarily equine (mostly hunter/jumper or race clients), but we also stock products, prescriptions medications and provide compounding services for canines and felines. eg. Advantixx, Frontline, Capstar, Nexgard, Zuke's, elk antlers, Bravecto, Serestos, Minocycline, and Prednisolone. We sell direct to consumer (prescription required for pharmaceuticals), but also have many clients whom are veterinarians who can get a better price through us due to our buying power vs buying direct as they are buying small quantities and large manufacturers have minimums. I'd love to pick your brains and get a little bit of feedback as to what you're doing now and what could make your life easier. Please also let me know if you're involved in: - pet owner - breeding - showing (confirmation) - obedience - therapy dog - agility - other Thanks! |

| My Yorkies are pets and I buy all of their heartworm, flea and tick preventatives at the vet. I am most comfortable buying from our vet because some reputable merchants were found to have sold what turned out to be fake Frontline. It was their suppliers' fault. I also buy our CET chews from the vet. It's convenient for me to stop at the office and pick up all of these things.

| Rx food from the vet or PetSmart. All drugs from the vet, human pharmacy, or vet conpounding pharmacy. I'd probably consider getting flea med (not heartworm) from Amazon or EntirelyPets. Chews and toothoaste from the cheapest reputable online source at the time of need.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I'm just a pet owner (or more specifically, they own me) -- I get my meds at the vet office, the compounding pharmacy here in AZ (Diamondback drugs), and I get Wylie's prescription eye ointment at Drs. Fosters and Smith. I get treats mostly from Amazon.

| I am owned by a yorkie oh wait I mean I'm just an owner I only feel comfortable buying my heart worm, prescriptions and now that Callie is taking nexguard flea and tick from my vet. I worry about counterfeit products. I get my treats from different places Petsmart mostly sometimes though amazon and chewys.com.
