| Laser Therapy? I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what the long term effects were. I have an elderly boy that had a serious injury sometime ago and the results are beginning to show up in his ability to get around. I have taken him to my vet and this was a suggestion among other things. Thanks for any thoughts on this. Common Uses - Laser Therapy | Companion Therapy by LiteCure

| There are mixed opinions on this that I've gotten from vets. I would lean away from it based on what I've been told.

| I believe YT member Gemy used it on her BRT. You can PM her if she doesn't see it.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I wish I knew more about this, as my vet does it...but I just don't...I've heard it works really well for some, though. Another thing you might consider is acupuncture.

Thanks for the replies. I will see what Gemy has to say also.

| I forgot to add that I did do this on my dog, but, as I've learned more about it from other vets, I wouldn't do it again,

| Molli got laser therapy after she was spayed. She seemed to heal very fast but I have no reference. I used to work for a holistic vet and have seen acupuncture, aqua puncture, and chiropractic adjustments work wonders on some dogs and not work at all for others. I think it depends on the dog and the problem they are having but if it's not too expensive it might be worth a try.
