Default When to start on dry food (as in without adding water/liquids)?

I'm thinking Kimchi might be ready now, as she's been stubborn about trying to get dry food out of the big girl's bowl. I've been finely hand crushing the dry kibble and she loves it. Did the moistening thing for a day and a half on wet crushed kibble, but just started to give her crushed dry. She doesn't really even want to touch her canned food much anymore, but gonna keep some cans on hand (when she gets spayed I'm gonna have them remove baby teeth).
Most searches on this online is surprisingly very few in specific age ranges and all answers giving kept going about advice on mixing with liquids or giving info on the stages. It's been so long since we had pups ^^; What little I've read says around 6 to 8+ weeks. She's about 8 weeks now, her fangs are out, I can see her fronts are trying to come in, but doesn't look like her back teeth are in yet. When she started to eat 1 serving mostly throughout the day, I got concerned, especially with the amount of activity she displayed. She also had a shaky moment from playing almost all day (while I was at work) but thankfully my niece remembered the nutri-cal and gave her a dab. About this time I figured to try the crushed kibble and that worked.
So far the plan we got going at this stage was to give her either moistened or dried crushed kibble for about one or two more weeks, till she reaches 9-10 weeks. After that we'll let her eat the kibble uncrushed. I'm using Wellness Core Puppy Formula, the kibble is small, but her mouth is so tiny and she tends to not chew enough, so I feel better about crushing it some for her. I'll gradually leave more chunks each day till the end result date.
Does this sound about right to y'all? If ya think I should go ahead and get her started on the full sized kibble, I'll most likely cut down the time to a week instead of two for crushing them.

Not to sound like a concerned Mom giving lectures but Puppies shouldn't have free roam & be allowed to play all day. They can get hypoglycemic attacks. Good thing your niece caught it in time & gave Kimchi some nutrical. Does she have a crate or an ex-pen set up w/a bed, water bowl, some toys, etc? Somewhere she can be confined safely.

I'm so scared of kidney disease (renal failure, my Grandfather passed away from this) & it's one of those organs that can't repair itself. Since kibble is lacking moisture, when I fed my guys kibble, I always moistened it w/hot water to make it soft. I added a table spoon of canned food or plain boiled salmon, turkey, whatever protein I had I shared w/them. I did this bc Momo wouldn't chew his kibble, just swallow it whole & that couldn't be good for his tummy.

Oh I totally understand concerns ^^. I was a nervous wreck the first week she came home and I'm gradually easing up on my mother henning lol She has a crate and pen, but has come to loath being locked in, she had literally not slept all night and cries constantly, but quiets down and conks out once we let her out. She actually doesn't do bad on free roam (when there's someone inside the house) and we keep the pen open for when she want to go in (and to also feed her food separate from the other doggies) and she pretty much sleeps about half the time. We keep her water dish filled several times through the day using purified bottled water (we don't want her little tummy to deal with all the tap water stuff for now) and she has easy access to it and pees like every 15-30 minutes when awake ^^;;. We keep her penned up when no one is home. We have a pile of blankets and toys in the living room that our other dogs also use and she sleeps/plays there often. She's even gotten pretty good about not chewing things she's not suppose to (the house is mostly puppy proofed, especially when all doors in the hallway are closed, as our house isn't big and it's one story).
She wound up playing all day because of my niece actually (she's 8), when she stays with us every weekend she wants to pretty much play with her most of the time, alot of times even when Kimchi is trying to sleep. Had to get on to her alot cause if she doesn't get to play or pet her while she tries to sleep, she'll pace around her pen or stick close to it (which keeps waking her up). She's a good girl and all, but we've had times were we all had to keep giving her talks about moderation X.x; but she's at least gotten to where she's not literally running and jumping around Kimchi. I mentioned to her that she can get shaky and to give her a pea-size of nutri-cal, so when she told me she was shaking some and gave it to her, I told her that was good of her. So aside from the weekend over-activity, we keep things mild with her and she actually does great the only thing with the free roaming that's an issue is the potty training and occasionally almost tripping on her ^^;
But yea, we've had her on canned/wet food all this time and only today tried to give a serving of crushed dry cause she hasn't eaten as much for a bit and kept trying to dig in the full dry kibble. So was wondering when's a good time to let her have her way ^^

If she's eating the dry, then let her have all she wants!
You're so brave to let her have free roam...when mine were puppies, it seemed like they would hold it & go anywhere when they were let out of their ex-pen apt. They also never went when I was there, but if I leave the room for a sec & come back, there were poopies everywhere! Like they're saying, 'yay she gone, let's have a poop party!' loll

lol I like that "poop party". yeah, she has casually walked into my room today and just pee'd near the door, while I was just sitting there X_x. I was like "Noooo! D:" I tried laying the pads in the areas she has gone at but she just wants to play with the pads or put it on her as a blanket ><;; If I could win lots of money I'd lay-out lots of pads around all the areas she goes in just to be sure she goes on the pad lol Strangely enough, if she's in the pen at the time, she'll go do her business on the pads there.
But yeah, I'm thinking she's pretty much ready for drier foods, as she goes to town with the crushed kibble dry and has been leaving the crush wet alone most of the day. And she again stole some full sized dry kibble, when we're not looking (even ones that are fairly larger for her) ><;; which was how I figured she was hungry. I'm thinking she likes the texture more.
So I'm gonna go with my original plan of crushing her food for about another week or two, gradually leaving it chunkier till the end and let her eat full sized kibble (which would be good cause our older jack russell has been stealing her wet foods in all it's versions). I crush her food by hand with the pestal of a granite mortar, though have thought to use my blender, but it's just a short time period before we give her full sized kibble and I feel I have more control on how finely ground it is :3 Ah, the work never ends :P
