| Atopika Hi. I've been looking on the site to see if there was anything about Atopika. My little one is so itchy she has itched & chewed the hair off her back legs & feet. I have been hesitant to use it after reading the side effects. The vet gave her steroids a couple of months ago. But she really doesn't like using them.I have to do something . we've had her 2 yrs from the rescue had allergies from day 1. She's 10 yrs old. The vet doesn't think it's a food allergy. If anyone has tried it it would really be helpful. Thanks |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Atopica can be a miracle for many dogs -including my Marcel. He's about 4lbs and has been on it for years now - works wonderfully!!! Another med you may want to research is Apoquel -- it's generally sold out everywhere right now, but it's an excellent med - especially for itching.

| I started Max on Atopica 3 months ago and his skin problem completely cleared up. The only side effect was some vomiting when he first started it but it only lasted a couple of days.
