				   | My pup had always been a finicky eater. Since I have had her she will not eat in the morning. She gets up with me at 7 and sometimes won't eat until close to noon, sometimes a little earlier. I'm not really concerned because she still eats a good amount throughout the day. I free feed and she usually eats about a half cup of her Royal Canin puppy dry food. She also eats kinda late. Usually eats around 8:30 and is asleep by 9. Just wondering if anyone else's pup doesn't like to eat in the morning? I just find it strange that she wouldn't be hungry in the morning. |

Maybe your kiddo just has a different internal clock? Maybe his clock is set to London time or something, lol.

				   | As long as your pup is not throwing up bile in the morning (could be sign of empty stomach), she's fine. She probably isn't hungry bc she eats late @ night right b4 bedtime...& is free fed. If she was on a feeding schedule, it might be different. Also, exercise gets their appetite going. Quote:

				   | Jackson has never been a breakfast eater, even as a pup. He usually won't eat until noon -ish. Occasionally he's in the mood for breakfast but it just depends.

				   | Good to know she's not the only one. She has only thrown up bile once a few weeks ago. She is pretty lazy in the morning. I figured she doesn't have a ton of energy since she hasn't eaten yet. She is a lot more active in the afternoon after she has eaten. |

				   | Mine must be really strange...they don't eat until evening time. I leave kibble down for them during the day but they won't touch it until six-ish in the evening. I put it down every morning as I'm afraid they will get hungry during the day. DH tells me that I don't need to put it down, but I can't break the habit.

Wow, that's really late. Yesterday she actually ate early, 9:30. Today she didn't eat until about 2:00. As long as she is healthy and growing, I guess everything's good. | |
