| Advantix II and ticks Doesn't seem to be working to well. Two weeks after I applied it to Sammy and Callie my mom has informed me Sammy is getting a tick almost every other day. Most of them have been dead but one was very much still alive. It's supposed to repel the darn things and if they bite then kill them. Looks like here it's going to be a bad tick season. Although Callie has not had any ticks but we don't have any woods on our property and the fenced in area is right in the middle of our 3.3 acres which is all grass. Any one else having tick problems? What are you using as prevention?

| I use Advantix II as Bentley was getting ticks and is allergic to flea saliva. I would keep them from any tall grass as the ticks like to hang out there waiting to get onto an animal. Since using Advantix II he hasn't had anything on him whereas Frontline did not work.

| Oh no. Well my dads dog Buddy has had 3 ticks so far... Jackson had 1 the other day. I just applied Advantix 3 days ago. So we're crossing fingers it works.

| So far Milo dont have any ticks on him but he is still scratching where the darn stuff was applied and shaking his head. Poor thing! I also use the pill for fleas. I have noticed that ticks are going to b bad here in alabama too. I got three off him before I put the advantix on him Tuesday. I was so hoping the winter killed them all out. But they seem to be as bad as last year.
