2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Did you know there are over 394 Toxic Plants. (Must See) I came across this website and though that I would share. I never imagined that there were so many dangerous plants out there that could be potential health risk to our babies. There are 394 listed by the ASPCA that are toxic. You can search toxic and non toxic plants for (dogs, cats, horses) you can search alphabetically with pics of most. If you click on the name it gives you other names the same plant is know as and what signs to watch for if ingested by your animals. Toxic Plants | ASPCA Non-Toxic Plants | ASPCA There many of them that I never imagined would be toxic like Macadamia nuts and some of my favorite flowers. So read up and Keep those babies Safe !!

| I have a Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow bush that was grown from a cutting from a great grandmother.....this shrub has been my pride and joy. Gorgeous and huge now....just found out it is toxic to my babies!!!!! They have been running all around that shrub for YEARS!!! Thank God there have never been any issues with them eating any of the plant! Now, I will take cuttings to root and plant down the side of the house, out of the back yard, away from the babies.....this shrub hides the electric box....I am looking at Texas Purple Sage now....cant find that it is toxic....wildlife wont eat it, so maybe the dogs wont either! I can not get over that toxic Y-T-T shrub!!! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 04-20-2014 at 01:24 AM. |

Its nice that you have that plant that was taken from your grandmothers own bush. What a wonderful way to honor and to remember her by. Not too many people have that ! There is always that chance that one day your pups might take a nibble of it so maybe it is wise for you to re root it and move it. I love the Texas Purple Sage , very pretty !
