YorkieTalk Newbie! | Dental issues My Gotti is 4 years old/ 4 lbs. and he is in need of deep cleaning. I been brushing his teeth since 2 months old once a week and he still has tartar build up and his breath stinks. I called Pet Dental in Tampa Florida because his vet told me he will need to have his cleaning under and he recommended to do it when he is neutered which I havent planned that date yet. So I rather take him to the specialist. I am planning on my June vacation from work, so I can be with him the days after to make sure he is hydrating and eating well and back to normal after anesthesia. The Pet Dental wants me to take Gotti to vet for blood work first its mandatory and I am all for it, he has never had a blood test. Dentist mandates CBC and chemistry within last 30 days before dental appt. Anyone know how much will be bloodwork and dental procedure. The dentist assistant only can give me the consult price of $95.00. I am praying it all turns out good. I love Gotti so that I am choosing the best a Pet Dental which of course....specialist is alwaysa a little more pricey. Thanks to all for feed back in advance. |

I would not be happy if an office was not willing to give me this information.

| I have always been so proud of Huey's white, clean teeth and his frequent brushing, but just in the last 6 months I have noticed a sudden buildup in tartar. I already decided that I was gonna get him his first dental within a year, but think I'm gonna have to move it up to the next few months. He turned 5 in Feb.
