| Food Recalls Hi everyone, new to this forum. I have a 5 year old Yorkie who has skin issues with scratching. I had switched her to a grain free dry food and she has been doing much better. I was using Grain Free Blue Buffalo. She has been drinking more water than usual so I went to a site to check on recalls and others using Blue Buffalo were experiencing the same thing. Some one recommended Dick VanPaten Natural Balance but in checking that it doesn't get the greatest reviews either. I am wondering if anyone is happy with the dry grain free food they are feeding their Yorkies. Would welcome any suggestions. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I am very pleased with the grain free dry kibble that we feed. We tried the BB Grain Free but I wanted to change the protein from chicken to something else. I feed Nutrisca Lamb Grain/potato free food. I order from Chewy.com, but you might be able to get it in your area. It is not sold at chain stores like PetSmart or PetCo. Mine, too has skin issues. Itching, scaling and flaking or the skin and biting of the feet. They have been on this food for almost 6 months and are doing great, even with the dry winter air. What ever you try, give it at least 3 months to work out the other food and give time for the new food to get to its full potential!

| We use grain free Fromm. Comes is several flavors. All dogs are different so what works for one may not be so good for another but we have had great luck with it.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Thanks so much for posting this. I haven't been on in a while & yours was the first one I read. Very strange that I ran across your message but I am very interested because my Bella has had allergy problems for the past few months sadly. She is also on Blue Buffalo. She has a history of past allergy problems but it has been years since any allergy flare ups. She has been on BB grain free for a long while now. We have been searching for answers & it must have been fate for me to check Yorkietalk. YT always helps me most with my fur baby. Miss YT! Does anyone else know anything more on BB? Also, please let me know the site for recalls on BB....Thanks!!
