| Physical Therapy Has anyone's pup done this? I'm trying to figure out how many times Buster might need to go. He's had three knee surgeries since July (total of six surgeries) on his left knee. The clinic where he's getting his therapy works with a lot of the patients of the surgeon who did his surgeries. He went for his first session yesterday. Sessions are $60 each if I sign up for ten sessions, otherwise they are $70. Money isn't the issue, I don't want to sign up for ten sessions and he gets burned out and starts fussing when we get there. The vet thought he was doing good for all of the things that he's had done to his knee, I agree but think he could use some therapy (the surgeon thought this as well). I don't know, I'm so confused...

| Mike's Eddie and Cathy's Barney both had water treadmill therapy like Callie. They could tell you how many sessions they had.

| I can't remember the exact # but we went twice a week for a while. The water treadmill was worth it, and most other exercises could be worked on at home. We also did a few k laser sessions. It seemed like we went for months but we think it was well worth the $ and our time. Barney loved it, but he's outgoing.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Alright on the face of it 10 sessions after six surgeries on his left knee I say go for it!! And yes $60 or so dollars is about right and book the 10 wk session, but do find out what is included in the physiotherapy. Such as Laser Class 4 or above is very usefull, underwater treadmill work, stair climbing, ball work, in other words what will be the plan and once the plan is developed what remedial options are available at that physio clinic. You also should have already gotten exercises for your dog to do at home. After all he has had Six knee surgeries!!!! I do love the underwater treadmill work, in fact I in winter take all my healthy dogs for it as it is a Great Conditioner. But I also get a volume discount lol.
