| Amount To Feed Missy is 12-1/2 weeks old now and is eating the dry Chicken Soup. How much does a Yorkie eat at this age? Would that be per serving or for a day? Does Chicken Soup dry food change your Yorkie's poops? HAPPY NEW YEAR!

| I imagine that would be difficult as we have a puppy on Chicken Soup Puppy and the older Yorkie is on the Chicken Soup for seniors. Any suggestions anyone?

| My vet told me they need at least 5 percent of their weight a day. I kept dry food out all the time when my pup was as little as yours. I gave her dry food with a little water until about 5 months old. At over 1 year old, she now eats twice a day-about 1/8 cup dry food with a tablespoon of cottage cheese, a few spinach leaves, carrot slices, or a tablespoon of wet dog food at each meal. I try to change the extra at each meal cause she doesn't like the dry dog food. hope this helps |

| Can you tell me if I figured this correctly? You said to feed 5% of weight per day. Missy weighs 2.8 lbs which equals 40 ozs. x .05 = 2.00 ozs. Isn't 2 ozs equal to 1/4 cup? Or did I figure it wrong? Duhhhh!*! I'm on brain overload today! haha

| sorry I posted before I saw your second question and then had to go feed the hubby. I guess you will just have to offer your puppy food several times a day in a confined area where you older dog can't get to the food. good luck- you just need to make sure the puppy is getting plenty of food several times a day so he/she doesn't ever go into hypoglycemic shock. How much does the puppy weigh? |

| I am not familar with the Chicken soup, but we tried two different dog foods and they did have a difference in the poop.

| I read in a book that you should feed your Yorkie 1 tablespoon per pound. So Bailey is 2.4 pounds now (3 months) and I should be feeding him approx 2 1/2 tablespoons per feeding.
