A must read for breeders and people interested in purchasing any purebred. Note: can also be usefull when looking at purchasing mixed breed dogs. With a mixed dog there is no usefull health testing (usually) that is done, and no understanding what mixes are healthier than others. The most conservative thinking would be to assume that the mix can be subject to one or all of each purebreds problem. I would look for a disease that is in both breeds and pay particular attention to these diseases.

| This list is certainly very valuable. Thanks for posting it. I think it should go in our library or at least parts relating to conditions that Yorkies are more prone to. Thank you for posting this.
