| Hmmm....I wonder WHEN veterinarians are going to start listening and pull this crap off their shelves?!? I "guess" if they've given it to dogs w/o a reaction, it "may" be fine to continue...but how can they, in good conscious, suggest a pet owner try this stuff and risk having something happen??? They are playing russian roulette by doing that...especially when there are safer alternatives out there!! I know they said there are "only" 31 reported deaths and 2,200 reported illnesses, but I am guessing the number is MUCH higher because there are people out there who haven't reported it. I am sure there are people who don't even realize that Trifexis is the cause of the problem!! |

| It seemed to take off when Sentinel and Interceptor were taken off the market. Now that Sentinel is back we can only hope this stuff disappears. It just seems way too new to me to have such a bad name already. Not a fan of Comfortis either.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog That is why we Yorkie lovers have to do research before some vet tells us to put our dog on certain meds. We trust these people and yet they give us stuff that makes our dogs sick or die. Just like the food out there. Check it out, read the reviews. Don't give your dog food that has guts and butts (by-products) in it. Or dyes or preservatives. Just ask or research before giving your dogs junk. Junkie treats, things that they can choke on watch out. |

| Our Spirit has been on Trifexis for almost 2 years! What happened? Our trainer actually told us last night that we may want to stop giving it to them. So what's comparable? |

| I thank God every night for my wonderful vet, whose wisdom and intuition keep my babies away from harm and harmful treatments, therapies, medications, and procedures. She has always steered me away from several meds, Trifexis being one...I was guided toward Revolution when Sentinel was pulled off the shelves, making sure I knew exactly how to put it on the dog......my vet reassured me, in her opinion, any failure in treatment was more than likely wrong dose or wrong application. |

| I used to use Interceptor for heartworms and bought Program online for flea prevention. My vet said "there's this great new combo pill that will save you money" and we switched to Trifexis. That was a couple of years ago, and now I am changing to Sentinal. I did not realize Sentinal had been removed from the market for a while, but it is the same flea med as Program (in fact, Sentinal is marketed as Program Plus outside of the US) and the same heartworm med as Interceptor ( and as trifexis, but it is the Spinosad, not the milbemycin that seems to be the problem ). Even Snopes cannot rule out Trifexis as the cause of deaths, although they won't say it is, either.snopes.com: Trifexis Kills Dogs?

| I was looking over my younger dogs medical papers the other day I was surprised to find out he was given Trifexis before I rescued him. I wonder if the rescue group is aware of all of the problems people are having with it?!? |
