| Sweet Potatoes vs. White Potatoes by Dr. Jean Dodds': Dr. Jean Dodds' Pet Health Resource Blog | Sweet Potatoes versus White Potatoes: What is the difference for your pet? My guys LOVE their sweet potatoes! I oven bake them & keep the left overs in the fridge. They get some as snacks, they all run to the kitchen when I open the fridge. It's good for people too.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I've also been told that white potatoes can be inflammatory for allergy dogs, so it's best to give them sweet potatoes instead.

| My pups love sweet potatoes. Cookie is on a special diet due to her lymphangectasia and sweet potatoes is part of it. I cook the potatoes every day and always cut some up in chunks for the others.
