| Canine Caviar too high in Calories? I have been feeding my pup Canine Caviar for a couple of months now. How many others here feed this and how is your pup doing on it? It seems to be a little higher in calories than some of the other food. Do I need to worry about my pup gaining weight?? |

| You don't need to worry about weight gain if you feed the appropriate amount of calories. Simply adjust the amount of the food you feed. For instance, my boys eat X amount of a 380 calorie per cup food. If I switched them to a 450 calories per cup food, I would serve less than X amount.

| More simply: adjust the serving size to equal the number of calories appropriate for your dog.
