| Nature's Logic I just came across a dog food called Nature's Logic and decided to feed this to my M&M on days when I don't want to home cook. Have you ever fed this to your fluff? What do you guys think of this food? Below is some info on their website: http://www.natureslogic.com/ Nature’s Logic provides your pet with essential and complete nutrition using only 100% natural ingredients. We never add chemically-synthesized vitamins, minerals or other trace nutrients, to ensure that your pet is not exposed to the potential toxicities associated with these man-made substances. No man-made, chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals, or amino acids. No chemical preservatives, artificial flavorings or colorings. No corn, wheat, soy, rice, potato, tapioca or glutens. |

| I have not tried Nature's Logic. But...I've heard good things about it. I have a picky eater & that's one of the foods on my list to buy when he's decided that he's sick of everything else. It has some unique ingredients like yeast culture, alfalfa meal & montmorillonite clay. I'm not exactly sure what those are...probably probiotics? It like the fact that there are a lot of different forumlas - as in proteins. I wonder how big the kibble is. Let us know how it goes. I'm always keeping my eyes open for different options when it comes to food.

Per dogfoodadvisor, alfameal is high in plant protein and fiber and yeast culture is high in B-Vitamins & proteins. It also states that yeast culture can also be used as a probiotic to aid in digestion. Here is what Nature's Logic say about montmorillonite clay (rich in minerals that is beneficial to health): Nature's Logic 100% Natural Pet Foods: Montmorillonite Clay in Pet Food & Fear of Dioxin Contamination I just bought Natures Logic Natural Sardine Dry Food on couple of days ago. This is for all life stages and the kibble was quite small (which I am happy with since both my dogs are 3-4lbs). However, I didn't care too much for sardines because they really smell fishy. So today, I exchanged it for Nature’s Logic Canine Venison Meal Dinner for I will let you know how they do on this. | |

| Also, what I like about Nature's Logic is that their vitamins are not sourced from China. I don't know if you are all aware or not but many of the dog foods that are labeled as "Made in USA" uses man-made vitamins that are sourced from China. Here is what Nature's Logic says about this in this link: Nature's Logic 100% Natural Pet Foods: How Ingredients from China Are Still Hidden in Most Pet Foods I really hope that my dogs will like this food. This will give me some break in home cooking when I am very busy or if we are traveling. (On a side note: for those that want to home cook, I highly recommend www.balanceit.com. Here is some info about the company: Nature's Logic 100% Natural Pet Foods: How Ingredients from China Are Still Hidden in Most Pet Foods This makes home cooking for dogs pretty easy.) |

| My oldest was eating Holistic Select when he came home. That's anchovy/sardine based...and yes, I was quick to transition him to a new food because I wasn't a fan of the smell. Keep us posted about the venison. Glad to know the kibble is small. I have a 4-pounder & she prefers a smaller size. I'm so sick of cutting Orijen with kitchen shears! I used to use BalanceIt. But their recipes are a little carb heavy for me. I've been looking into the "Carnivore Blends" that you mix with raw meat before cooking. In fact, now that I reminded myself of it, I think I'll just order it right now. Good luck with the Nature's Logic & thanks for all of the info. Keep us posted!!
