| Nuti Source??? I went to the pet store to get Ruger some food and they were out of Nutro Lamb and Rice, what I usually feed Ruger. The proprietor recommended Nutri Source Lamb and Rice and said it's very similar. The only thing I can see on the bag that's a big difference is twice the fiber (6%), and Ruger loves the stuff -- never seen him eat like that. I think the extra fiber is making Ruger poop more, but he feels fine and I never got a chance to make the switch gradually, so time will tell. Anybody know anything about Nutri Source? |

| I think Tokipoki is feeding - or fed - Nutrisource. She'll probably see this post soon & tell you about her experience.

| I've been feeding Lexi Nutri Source puppy food since I brought her home at 8 weeks. She's 9 months now. And, boy, does she poop a LOT! I assumed it was the food, but since I've never fed her anything else, I didn't have anything to compare it to. She poops all..day..long...lol. But, it's nice and firm, she doesn't strain and she never has diarrhea. She's also very healthy and happy with LOTS of energy so she must be getting what she needs.

| Well, Ruger's poop looks just fine. Maybe more poop is good thing. I don't know. I'm going to give it some time and see if it continues. If so, my vet is really good about stopping by and asking questions. I guess I'm more concerned about whether Nutri Source is a decent dog food, or whether I should switch back to the Nutro when it's gone. Thanks for the replies. |

| I think Nutrisource is a good quality food. I've fed the grain-free Chicken and also I've fed the grain-free Bison and Sweet Potato from the Pure Vita line. I probably wouldn't feed the Bison again just because it seemed like whenever I took Toki outside to use the bathroom, she would poop (which seemed excessive to me). Both of my pups have done well on the Nutrisource Chicken without having any issues though. And I like that they have a lot of grain-free and potato-free options as well. |

| I would definitely choose Nutrisource over Nutro any day.
