| Pepcid or Pepcid AC Which one is OK to give for stomach upset? Pepcid or Pepcid AC? Betty Boop is burping and I can tell it is reflux.

| OK..I am stumped. I think it is all the same. I use the store brands....what you want is Famotidine 10mg .. 1/4 tab is the usual dose I am told to give.

| I'm not sure that there is a difference. Name brand isn't necessary unless you want to. Store brand acid reducer wuth famotidine as the active ingredient (10mg) is fine. Yorkies usually get 1/4 pill depending on size. Famotidine can interfere with certain drugs. If your pup is on anything other than the usually heartworm/flea stuff check with the vet.
