Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Fromm anyone? The recent thread about BB has me thinking that I want to at least start looking at foods again. My dogs have done well on BB and I am afraid of upsetting Rhett's tender tummy. The store I buy BB from told me that Fromm is very similar to BB and might be a good alternative to consider. So, does anyone feed Fromm and what are your thoughts on it?

| There are a bunch of threads on Fromm. My boys have been eating the Fromm Four Star Chicken a la Veg for years. The company has been in the feed business for a century and does feeding trials. No recalls to date. Some people here have suggested that the Four Star menu kibbles have a few too many ingredients for sensitive tummies. In that case, try their original Gold line.

| Also, they manufacture in their own plants in Wisconsin and I think Indiana. No contracting out to plants where multiple brands are made.

| My Goldens have historically had GI issues with BB. My whole pack is on FROMM 4 star flavors and are doing great. Roxy my smallest went from BB to FROMM Chicken a la Veg cold turkey and she never looked back. I tried to transition her but she picked out all the FROMM and left the rest. Buddy the golden had a sensitive belly but he transitioned over effortlessly in 4 days. The BB was not working for him at all. Cozy and Lucy I transitioned over to FROMM slowly but only because they are Porky yorkies and I had to kept a close eye on their calorie intact. I change the flavor almost every bag with them and I don't even given them a transition day. I have 3 open bags at almost all times. Roxy (4 pounder- Most days) likes vary so she gets it as long as she eats!

| Sadly Callie is not a fan. She broke out on the chicken one (thats when we seemed to really discover her grain allergy) and then I tried a grain free one and she just wasn't fond of it but she can be picky. I loved the company though so I was pretty bummed when she didn't like it.

| My boys eat the Fromm Four Star varieties. Cooper has a very sensitive tummy but has taken well to this food. I can switch between flavors whenever I want and it seems to keep them very interested.

| We feed Fromm Four-Star Duck and Sweet Potato in our rotation and the dogs absolutely LOVE it! The only one I can't feed is the salmon one. It gives one of my dogs horrible diarrhea. Our favorite one is the duck and sweet potato though.
