| Nutri-Cal Chews vs Tube Excuse me if this has been asked before. I searched for Nutri-Cal Chews and didn't get many results - I was way too afraid for how many posts would come up if I searched for Nutri-Cal by itself! I'm bringing home a little one in a few weeks. I was going to buy normal Nutri-Cal in the tube then I saw the chews. I hate how sticky that stuff is and it always ends up falling on the floor before I can get it in the dog's mouth so I ordered the chews instead. Has anyone experience with the Nutri-Cal Puppy Chews? |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I hadn't seen those before. They sound like they would be convenient for traveling, but if you have an ill dog I'm not sure it would be easy to get them to actually eat it.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Never used the chews. I like the tube better. It dissolves quickly. And that is very important

| I didn't know they made a chew...If your puppy is having a hypoglycemic attack, it won't be able to chew & swallow. You need to rub the nutri-cal or karo syrup on his/her gums.

| This seems to be more like a supplement than anything, you give it to them daily. I am known to do that with the regular kind for light eaters, so this appealed to me. I am now also planning on tossing one in a cup of water to see how fast it does dissolve, lol! |

| It has more sugar than vitamins to be honest. If your puppy is not having hypoglycemic attacks, no need for nutri-cal. You're better off mixing canned food or real meats w/their food then giving them corn syrup...prolonged use of this stuff will give them diabetes, my vet said so.
