| Chicken Soup & Number Of Poops In A Day Our puppy, Missy (12 weeks today), by Tuesday this week was switched fully to Chicken Soup. She is pooping an EXCESS NUMBER OF TIMES A DAY!*! She went poop at 4:40 a.m., 5:00 a.m., and 5:45 a.m. She ate breakfast at 6:00 a.m. and then had water. She pooped again at 8:00 a.m., and 11:10 a.m. She ate lunch at 12:00 then had water. She pooped again at 1:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. AND, she hasn't even had supper yet!*! All that was just for today! That's 7 times already! She did the same thing yesterday (7 times during day). She normally does NOT poop after her supper at 6:00. She's only been on the Chicken Soup fully for 3 days. Her poops are firm. They are not loose at all. The vet gave her a shot for deworming last Saturday. Does that have anything to do with this excess poop problem? Thank God she's a "bell ringer" to go out! I think we need to change her name from Missy to Belle!*! LOL hehe

| I would give it awhile.. and see how she does. I'm not sure, but I think Stewie is between 1-2 years old.

| When we first switched over to Chicken Soup, Tiger did go more often. It did level out though. He now only goes twice a day. Give it some time and I think your baby will level out as well.

| Dont know if it helps but mine only goes once a day, shes 5. But she pooped ALOT when she was a young puppy like yours, especially after meals.

| Well, sometimes you really do need a sense of humor! Can anyone say how long it takes for them to "level out"? We have 2 Yorkies as you know. One is the puppy, Missy, & the other is Muffie, the older Yorkie. My husband's cousin sent him a bright yellow t-shirt for Christmas. On the front it says, "Let Missy out - pickup sh*t!" On the back it says, "Let Muffie out - pickup MORE sh*t!" hehe (And it didn't say "poop" either!)

| Yesterday I thought perhaps we are not giving her enough to eat and it isn't bulking up enough to come out as a big one (just a little at a time)! If we weren't such big Yorkie lovers, this would really be gross to talk about! LOL So I increased her food by a whole tablespoon!*! She is getting one of the best foods (Chicken Soup). How much dry food did your puppy eat at 12 weeks? Don't hurt yourself by trying to remember now. hehe I'm trying to keep my sense of humor with a puppy around. This is definitely something new for us OLD timers!
