| Please Help!!! I haven't posted on here in a long time, although I do stalk a lot, especially when I have a question about my little man, Louie. I actually have a question to ask for my sister, who is currently having a full-on panic attack because she found out that her Japanese Chin, Gypsy, has an enlarged heart and a heart murmur, and will have to be put on a prescription low sodium food. The problem is, Gypsy won't eat anything but canned Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. She is the pickiest eating dog I have ever seen, and my sister doesn't know how she is going to get her to eat this new food. Any suggestions? She could really use them right now, while my mom tries to bring her out of her panic attack....

| So sorry to hear about you Gypsy's diagnosis. Perhaps your sister can consult with a Nutritionist about a low sodium diet geared towards Gypsy's specific issues. Many members here have consulted Dr Remillard who has done wonders with dogs who have special dietary needs. Nutrition Service Expands Staff, Increases Outreach Best wishes to Gypsy and your sister.

| Thank you so much! I will look into that for her. Hopefully she can get Gypsy to eat the new food, but I doubt it, knowing how she is. Your prayers are appreciated. I am so worried about her, and Louie is worried about his favorite cousin.
