| Blue is having the surgery... for the luxating patella today. Why does it exist in such beautiful breed? He had FHO and now this. Ugh. I hope it is going to be the last surgery he will have for rest of his life. Thankfully, his right kneecap is good. The left kneecap kept popping a lot even it does not bother him but I did not like the feeling of it popping every time I pick him up. He does not limp or favor his leg but he is not very active like he used to. Dr. G advised not to wait for Blue's kneecap to get worse so I am confident that the decision to have him to have the surgery now is best for Blue. I should hear from the clinic at noon. Sorry for the blurry picture. Keep him in your prayers and thoughts, please.

| Sending him good thoughts on his surgery and recovery. Unfortunately, I think I am heading up this road too. Please keep us posted on his progress.

| Thank you so much! I stopped by at the clinic to drop off the e-collar and hoped to see Blue but he was in the recovery room and I did not want him to work himself up thinking I came to take him home. The surgery went well. I don't have the details except that he did well. I should know more tomorrow. I have to remember to bring the crate from my shop to keep him confined when I can't watch him. I am kind of nervous about how he does--I read some Yorkies had to have another surgery because the first surgery did not correct the kneecap. Thank you so much for the well wishes for Blue! Oh no, I am sorry to hear that. I definitely will keep you guys posted on his progress with the pictures.

| I picked him up this morning. The dr was out of the office until Saturday. I was hoping to talk to him about the surgery. I was disappointed that he was not there. I will call him on Saturday. Blue looks miserable. He is resting on my lap to get some good sleep without the e-collar (he hates the e-collar). It is going to be a long recovery. I will need to find a good vet in NY for for follow up on his progress. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers! I hope he does well with his recovery. Here is Blue resting. The 2nd and 3rd are a lil bit graphic.
