| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Keeping Couver and you in my thoughts and prayers. Its extremely hot here in the south, too. After reading this thread, I started adding water to Jasper's food yesterday. He doesn't drink much either. Please keep us updated on the next test results and good luck with his dental.

| YT 2000 Club Member | Oh sweet Couver. I am hoping he will get good test results. Some dog foods are high in protein and I would check the bag to see how high. I bet Couver is loving the wet food. I mix water and wet with my boys food and they wolf it down. |

| Couver was retested today and his BUN levels were 26. Still high, but within normal range. I'm assuming they were elevated because of dehydration and the heat in July. Phew.

| Sorry I missed this when you 1st posted...so happy that Couver is doing better, hope he continues to get well. Is he on an all kibble diet? It might be better to moisten his kibble w/water. See if that changes things for the better...moisture is good for their kidneys too.
