| frontline combo hello, i have a 3.3 pound yorkie that is about 1.5 years old. i recently purchased frontline combo and have applied 1/4 of the applicator tab onto the backside of the neck on my doggie. its been about 12 hours since i applied it, and he is still hiding from me. He was shaking every time i came near him and continued to lay in the same position since last night. He went poo and pee, but went back to the exact position and would not move. He continued his odd behavior, so i washed the remainder of the frontline combo off his coat. He got better after about 30 minutes of the wash. Should I discontinue use of frontline/frontline combo? If so, does anyone have any other alternatives since summer quickly approaching? Any advise would be greatly appreciated! |

| What is frontline combo? plus? Mine sulk & hate it too & they also try to rub it off. As long as he's not vomiting & acting lethargic, I think he'll be ok. You can ask your vet what the exact dosage is according to his weight. Some people split the dosage in half & apply the other half the next day. Hope he'll be ok!

YT 2000 Club Member | I would have your vet measure out the proper dosage. The smaller they are the more likely for a reaction if given too much. I have a 2 lb yorkie and she had Frontline plus and had no reaction, but my vet measured out the proper amount for her weight and then applied it.

| I would not do this there have been two stories with in the last week of sick dogs because of flea and tick collars they are toxic nasty little things in my opinion! Plus they where recently released which means not a lot of time to hear reviews about them.
