| I would generally not add fat to a commercials diet. As some have pointed out, yorkies are prone to digestive issues including pancreatitis. Not only are these conditions painful to the dogs, but a severe case can run up a bill in the thousands. I would proceed cautiously, and with vet advice. Dogs on commercial diets shouldn't need additional fat, unless they are fed foods that simply aren't great (even if they sound good on the bag and have pretty pictures)
