MSU researchers link pet food, dog illnesses nationwide | MSUToday | Michigan State University

BB was not recommended by my local vets (many of whom are MSU grads) due to quality control issues.

Yes. As I said, it was out just months before I got ZoE...she was two in December...so when I was looking at food, BB was not recommended.

It isn't the only issue they've had. Bad rice in 2007. So seems like ongoing quality control issues.

All foods go through problems at one time or another. Just like our food does. To each their own.

We recently switched our little one to BB and havent had any problems..

Have you tried any benadryl, it it works then it is probably enviromential like chester has, like most dogs. Benadryl does not work for food related issues because it works on blocking the histamine. Chester has been on the grain free chicken based from solid gold and has done very well, picky eaters like it

Yesterday was Honey first day on BB. I mixed the Science Diet in with the BB so she wouldn't have stomach problems. Well miss Honey ate all the BB and left the Science Diet in the bowl. I was very surprised that she didn't end up with an upset stomach because she at BB for lunch and dinner. She seems to really like and so far so good. We will see how it goes.

Yeah!!! Our Teeka has been on BB for three months and she has never had any tummy issues! Her coat is so soft and shiny, too!

We just switched from Life Abundance to BB small breed. And I tell you what she has the worst breath since like rotten fish smell! And when she does fart it is terrible! Might be switching back if this keeps up!

Do you brush her teeth? Could she have a bad tooth?

We try to brush her teeth.... But the issue came about the same day we switched food!:thumbdown

My Boxer pup was on the puppy variety of BB. She had diahhrea - I changed her over to TOTW puppy and some pumpkin and her poop firmed up nicely.
