| **Honest Kitchen Voluntary Recall Salmonella!** Check your lot codes! OMG better check your boxes! Possible contamination from parsley. Click the link for the whole email and press release. In part it reads: "I'm writing to inform you that today we are voluntarily recalling five lots of our Verve, Zeal and Thrive products, which were produced between August and November 2012 and sold nationwide in the US and Canada via retail stores, mail order and online after August 2012." The Honest Kitchen Announces Voluntary Limited Pet Food Recall

| I have a box of Preference that I occasionally feed to Uni, but more as a special treat/meal. I'm glad to read they are no longer using that company that supplied them with the possibly tainted parsley as well.

| I just got the email on it. This is plain crazy~! I've gotten 3 emails of different dog treat recalls, and each were more than one product. Apparently making your own dog treats is the way to go~! |

| The scary thing though is the parsley from HK is human grade. For example we could buy tainted veggies from the market and give it to our dogs. Even things you buy and make yourself could be tainted if it was sent like that to the market.

| I guess we could always just boil down some green beans. Easy simple treat that they love and the boiling will kill off the germs.
