Thank you lynzy....I guess if I had actually gone for this posters throat, tore into her and actually accused her of whatever her vivid, over active imagination misinterpreted my response to be, I would have been prepared for her comeback. I have seen, ANY of us that have been around dogs for more than a couple of years, have seen the tricks and stunts two dogs will go in order to breed....thru fences, thru gates, thru crates, thru diapers, etc. All I tried to do was inform someone that clearly has no idea about heat cycles and the overpowering drive dogs instinctly have to breed, not to trust a pair of panties! Didnt accuse her of anything.....she came on this forum loaded for bear, defensive and all jacked up from "reviews" about YT that she has read on line, and took an honest attempt to share information with her as an accusation she was breeding her dog! Soooooo off base! And who in their right mind goes onto a forum and essentially starts out by addressing the members there, by saying, paraphrased of course, "All right all you a$$holz, dont say one thing to me that is not asked of you, because you all are already known allover the internet as a bunch of mean people.....". Is THAT the way someone new walks onto a forum and addresses members?????????? That is unmitigated gall!

Ok sorry bout that honeys seven month old and has started her first heat we noticed a couple of little dots of bloody and she's very sleepy and always cleaning downstairs how long and when will I know when her heat cycle has passed she wasn't neutered before as Xmas time was too expensive with three kids and she went into heat this month

The cost of spaying/neutering should be budgeted into the initial cost of any pet...just like puppy vacinations. It's not a surprise expense like an injury, it's a planned expense from the get-go.

Exactly! FYI, my google search to find out how long a heat cycle lasts took all of 10seconds.
