| My Dori loves them! I give her a medium size and ALWAYS supervise her chewing. After about 40 minutes, I remove it and put the chew in a baggie until next time.

| Wondering why the vet said antlers are bad?? Just because of their hardness? We get the split antlers, where the marrow is easily accessible, and our pups love them. |

We have some Himalayans... he goes thru phases. Most of the time, he won't chew them. But when he does, there's never been an issue. I definitely don't think their on the same hardness level as antlers. But they definitely last a LOT longer than bully's.

| They are bad for there teeth and can end up with broken teeth. They are very very hard and dogs teeth are not as strong as everyone seems to think they are. Callie broke a very important tooth and in order to save it and let her keep it, it cost $1,500 and broken teeth are not always savable. Seems risky to me.

| I havent ever bought them but I wouldnt either because of the hardness. However raw feeders give bones all the time and they are hard so I dont know how that works out because I dont do it. The hardest thing I give mine is a dentastick or a bully stick

| mine love them also and they last a good amount of time. they dont collect yuk either like bully hanging around. i have to throw bullys out all the time. i think though after this round of bullys i will no longer get them and stick with these. i hope we dont ever have a cracked tooth but my kids needs something to chew on and they do not like the teething/pet toys made for chewing on.

| Just me- I stay clear away from ANY chew- Bully sticks, Himalayan chews, antlers, Texas toothpicks- My vet told me bacteria can live on them and make your dog have tummy issues!! Not worth it to me- I honestly don’t see a need for them anymore- not worth the risk. Peanut is a lot healthier too!

| Every hard chew has a risk of being a choking hazard &/or damaging their teeth. I only let mine have their Himalayan chew for 30 min max & it's only once in a long while, always under supervision. How Himalayan chews work is they have to lick it, soften it & grind it off w/their teeth. They leave scraping marks on it, kinda like if a mouse ate it lolll. Himalayan Dog Chew

| Well.. He doesnt have tummy issues, doesnt throw up pieces of Bully stick- or texas toothpicks- no trips to the vet either. Why do you ask? Do you think I wouldn't know the difference? IMO- I don't think they are healthy. I am able to tell a difference in him when he had them and now that he doesn't.

I never really put two and two together- honestly. Anytime he chewed he would have poo problems, and he would just act sick- I would take him in and they would give him Pepto ( for dogs) and send me on my way.. He would be better in a day or so.. It would be a cycle right after he chewed on one. Then he thew up little pieces.. He would act sick- go to the vet and repeat from our last visit- Then he had that Texas Toothpick and got pancreantitis- after that it all made since- my vet said bacteria can grow on them and that was probably the issues before- also maybe Pnut just cant handle them..?? I dunno, but the day I stopped is the day the tummy issues stopped.

| I think some dogs tummys can handle some chews and some can't just like with different foods. Dogs can tolerate bacteria's that we can not tolerate because there systems are different then ours.

| I think in Peanut's case, he can't tolerate high fat foods like my Princess. Last time Mimi had a bully stick, it made her throw up & she never throws up! So no more bully sticks here.
