Yorkie Talker | Puppy 'food My puppy was sold to me at 8 weeks, which I have read is too early. However, he is here and I want him to do well. The breeder has him eating the blue bag of Puppy chow. Is this an okay choice.. I opened his mouth the other day and found he has very little teeth. Hence, still needed mom... maybe I could soften it some.. any thoughts will be appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

Keeping his food out all the time or feeding 4 times a day is recommended! He is very young and really needs his mama! How much does he weigh? I am praying he does ok as you have a baby that will need a lot of extra care to prevent low blood sugar. Best of luck with your new little one!

| I've been bottle feeding a puppy since 6 days old(poor breeding choices, not mine, the mom died) he's now 6 weeks old and needed solid food. He only has a few teeth. Softening dry puppy food with his formula does't seem to get it soft enough so the vet snd I switched him to chicken natures receipe. Good quality, grain free. I don't generally like csnned but will have to use it until Niko has mote than 4 teeth. Working with my other dogs and fosters I like dry to prevent teeth issues. |
