Not eating My five month old female Yorkie weighs 3 1/2 lbs. Has been eating Science Diet since I have had her. All of a sudden she does not want it. I fill her bowl in the morning and it is still full in the evening. We do not feed her any other food. Will she start back eating when she gets hungry. I have read about the homemade recipes but am afraid to start that.

Welcome Sometimes they can just get bored of the food but I too think you should take her in to make sure it's not a medical thing

Jasmin has recently turned into a picky eater. She wants treat treat and sweet potatoe all the time. I blamed DH for introducing jasmin to human food. Since she has been introduce to apple, pineapple and sweet potatoe she turned into picky eater.

My Princeton is also suddenly not eating very well. He just doesn't seem interested in his Kibble at all and before was a great eater. he will play with it, paw at it and even take in a piece of kibble and then spit it out. Its been over the last couple days. Very worrying and frustrating. I too, hope its a passing phase. But between this a couple things else that are worrying this mama, I am taking him to the vet on Monday.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | My Izzy has ALWAYS been a VERY picky eater.. The only thing she will eat is Raw food.. Currently she is on Primal and we are trying Vital Essentials.. So far she LOVES it You may want to try something completely differant than hat your using.. Maybe something grain free, a protien he has never had and better quality...their only way of telling you something is wrong is to pretty much stop eating Good Luck
