| ![]() Just found out that Bonnie Blue has an under developed liver. The doctor wants to take care of it with meds and diet. She is on LD food right now. My question for the forum is does anyone know treats or chewies that she might have. Brett Maverick is fine and healthy and I don't want to take away from him getting treats. So I am curious what I can give her? ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I think with her having liver issues I would run it by my vet. I used to make Rosie treats out of the canned I/D. Ladyjane on here gave me a recipe on how to do it. I just wonder if you could do the same thing with the L/D?

| ![]() Our Vet says she can have anything that is not animal protein! He wants her on L/D and he has said she can have the soft kind. I just got her a freeze pop for teething so she is enjoying that as well. Thanks for the idea about the treat made from the can food. I just want to be able to give Brett my other one a treat every once in while like the bully stick because he loves them and it good for teething as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
