| It does have a lot of peas. There is nothing I like in our stores around here except Acana. For now, looks like I'm getting more Fromm or Canine Caviar on MrChewy

| To me, seeing a bunch of pea ingredients, is just as bad as seeing corn gluten meal, etc, etc ... it's just used to boost the protein content. I'd rather see a food with more rice in it than that many peas. For example, brown rice is about 3% protein. The "pea protein" you find in a lot of new foods is 90% protein. It seems more like just another ploy by the dog food manufacturers called "ingredient splitting." It is supposed to prevent consumers from noticing how much of the food, especially protein, actually comes from peas and not meat. Any food that contains all those variations of peas probably has very little actual meat.
