| hacking cough My "Yogie" is eleven yrs old...he is very healty. eats good, loves to run our property. I know that Yorkies have this inward cough or hic up...but my Yogie has acquired a deep hacking cough...I thought he might have something down his throat but checked it out and didn't feel anything. when he first started this hacking he would spit up white thick flim,(I guess something like we would do with a cold)...Does he have a cold that is causing him to hack like this....anyone else run into this problem with their Yorkies. thanks |

| I think you are referring to a reverse sneeze... That doesn't sound like what is going on here. I would take your baby in for a Vet check up, esp that he is hacking up white foam..

| Definitely time for a vet check, poor little dude! He may have one of dozens of ailments, but you want to catch it early as possible before it becomes more serious. I hope he feels better soon
