| Taking Peek A Boo to the vet .... I just started to get nervous about this... I've been beginning to see some odd behaviors in my 15y 10m old little man. The main thing I'm seeing is he will kind of shiver while waiting for me to put his food down, I don't think it's temp related, and praying it's not any kind of seizure activity.... And I'm noticing a loss of sight or whereabouts... not often. He usually follows me into the bathroom.... last night he was standing right smack in front of the wall (instead of the door) and started barking loudly till I came out. I think he could use some prayers.... he's my little buddy....

| I am so sorry, Kathy. If I can help in any way, all you need to do is ask. You and your little one are in my prayers.

| Thanks everyone! Well... The vet did say he looks really good for being 16YO! He's going to run bloodwork and a urinalysis to see where he stands, and if we can do anything about it. He'll call me either tomorrow or Thursday to let me know what, if anything, is going on with him. I forgot to mention here that he eats like a horse, and I increased his feed times from 2 to 3 times a day to try to keep some weight on him (about 3 months ago), and increased the amount and types of treats he gets. He has a bit of a fat layer under the skin on his back, but I can still feel his ribs, and he's got some muscle loss due to his aging. He's active and loves to go for walks, and he is aware and alert most of the time. 'The Girls' mugged him when we got home... they sniffed him everywhere and were looking at me like 'Hey, how come we didn't get to go?' Too funny... but I think he liked being missed. I'll update again when I get that phone call....

| Forgot the 'Funny'... Lol! There was a lady with a large cat standing next to me while I was paying the bill... She asked 'What kind of dog is that?' referring to my Peek A Boo. Many things ran through my head... but I decided to be very nice and said 'A Yorkie?', like has she heard of them before now? She said 'Oh... I've only ever seen them with shorter coats (Peek's in full coat), I didn't realize their hair grew that long! So I went on to explain that many keep the coats short, or in a 'puppy cut' because it's easier to care for... and she said well that makes sense. And we talked a bit about grooming and the time it takes, and different coat textures. I felt kind of sad after she left... how many folks out there have never seen a Yorkie in a full coat? To me, that's like one of the Wonders of the World, lol!

| Kathy, I missed your thread yesterday. Sending prayers for good results from Peek a Boo's tests. Happy to hear that his initial exam was good. How sweet that the girls were happy to have him home, and that he enjoyed soaking up the attention. I live in big dog country, so a full-coated Yorkie is a novelty here too.
