| Advice on diet for senior yorkie I am going to be fostering a 10 year old yorkie that only has 2 teeth. She has a very poor coat condition, her hair feels like straw it is dry and brittle to the touch. I would like to do my best to improve her condition and I know a excellent diet can help. Tinkerbell is doing well with Blue basics kibble, but I don't know if this would work for my foster girl. Will she need to eat can food only since she has so few teeth? I think her remaining two are going to have to come out soon. Thanks for any suggestions and advice. |

| I would put the kibble in a blender and grind it down really well. Mix it with some water to feed to her. Canned is also very good, as it has more nutrients than kibble.

| Our senior pom was having similar issues with her hair. I feed her a tiny bit of cocoanut oil each morning and everyone is now getting a little scrambled egg once a week. |
