LP knee pain

The orthopedic surgeon suggested Dasuquin and I forgot to give it to her so I have enlisted the whole house to help me make sure she gets one everyday. I am thinking of using a daily pill box thing and setting it on the table.

We have a one-week pill box for Toki's supplement (she is also on dasuquin) because I had trouble remembering whether or not I had given her the 1/2 tablet each day. I'd definitley recommend getting one! We have one on a shelf that we walk by all the time so she rarely misses a dose. It was so hard for me to remember without a pill box, especially when I had a lot of stuff going on already

I feel better knowing I am not the only one who forgets. I think the pill box will work great.

If you don't mind me asking, what did the orthopedic surgeon recommend in terms of activity level/type for Callie with her LP since her knee bothers her after walks? Or did they just recommend the joint supplement? We actually have an appointment tomorrow with an orthopedic surgeon because Toki's left knee/hip have been bothering her and I'm just so stressed about it!

Well Callie also had a partially torn ACL so they had to do surgery on her ACL so we had the right knee LP surgery at the same time. The other ACL is eventually going to tare at some point they believe so we are pretty much waiting for that to happen to do LP surgery on the other knee. He said jumping is the biggest thing and keeping her weight down as well as the Dasuquin. I hope her appointment goes well.
