Found little pieces of sharp bones in kibble.

1/4" seems a little big to me. I don't know their specs though. Hopefully they will answer you soon. If not, I'd probably return the food.

Please correct me if I am wrong, however, dehydrated raw "bones" would not be equivalent to feeding a raw chicken drumstick straight from the fridge. I wouldn't feel comfortable with dehydrated bone shards. I have no idea what the composition of the food is, but turkey bones in raw form have a distinct tendency to shard. I would imagine a dehydrated shard of turkey bone could be pretty sharp.

I fed a Canned Dog food Before that had little bones in it they company was evangers and they said there was little bones but these just kinda crushed in your fingers. I would not feel comfortable with big sharp bones because what would be the difference between that or glass pieces going through the system

Yoikes! What if your little guy had swallowed that whole?!?!?! Could it have speared the inside of his tummy or esophagus on the way down? That is just scary to me.

Thanks for your concern ladies! They just emailed me an hour ago asking what kind and best by date of the food. They said to take the bag back to the store for a full refund.
I'll be going to get another food tomorrow and I am having a really hard time finding a food that is grain/white potato/flaxseed free.
Wish they sold the small bag of canine caviar here or online.

I guess I didn't realize they were putting bone in kibble. Since kibble is cooked at very high temperatures bones would be dangerous if it is not ground to a very fine consistency.

There is ground bone in Gracie's raw food but you cannot feel it as hard or sharp.
